Tattoo Design; Blossom [Random.]

I wanted to test out my moleskin book with lined paper, but I found myself drawing Blossom!
If anyone wants me to design a tattoo for them, I would happily do it and give it a try.

Yeah i accidentally nearly put 2000 and 11 as the date.. I have no idea why. Please don't judge me.

John mayer; Vinyl

I came across something the other day that I hadn't seen for an age. I found my John mayer Vinyl, I remember when I bought it, it was a rainy day in what was meant to be summer a year or two ago. I wanted a new vinyl for a while and had been looking around, I had a £20 note that I wanted to spend on something special and wouldn't stop till I found something worth the money. After browsing for a while I saw it. It wasn't long after Battle Studies came out on CD. I thought, 'I have to have that' It's been at Josh's grandparents house for a while next to one of their really outdated vinyl's. I listened to it the other day when I was alone on the gramophone. It was so crackly and sounded like I was in the studio. Vinyl's playing remind me of rainy days when you're in bed trying to get to sleep. They're soothing and calming. I missed the sound of a vinyl. Nothing sounded better. It still gives me goosebumps and a tingly feeling to this day.

September;

The other day when I was walking out of my room I was scared out of my skin by this massive Moth, I explained it to my sister as being a horse sized moth. Okay. Exaggeration, but my god it was huge. To be honest I was shit scared of it, but I also thought it was pretty. I don't know how or why it got there. But I'm glad it did. I thought I'd use my macro enhancer to do all the work, Also just so I didn't have to get real close to it. My camera did instead!

Also the Macro had one side effect, It showed up all the dog hairs my hoover won't pick up!

Polaroids; Collection#2.

Film; London Train.

This is the small selection of a roll of film I took on my Mamiya on the way to London. I wanted to show my journey in a unique way, I did it in B&W purely because the film was only B&W to be able to select but also because I was adding an aged theme to all my photos.

On the first landscape mount, I actually put masking tape on the roll of film to show Where to start and where to stop the exposure, a bit of masking tape was shown when I exposed the light to the paper and shone through, revealing part of the picture of the lights at night on the road.

Certainly a tip I would do again given the chance. What a happy accident!

Experiment #2; Film.

I started thinking about when I last used film.

It was when I was going to London for a college project and I took a load of photos on film to show my journey. I enlarged them onto photographic paper and then presented them on foam mount. They got me a good mark at College and I now have them presented on my bedroom wall for all to see. (whomever goes in my bedroom that is!) I wanted to do it again to be honest. It was fun, So I'm taking my camera everywhere with me, and hoping to get some good snaps. The film I did in college happened to only be B&W. It was Ilford Pan 400. This time I went into boots and took a gander at all the rolls and chose Fuijifilm 400 (36 expo). This one is colour, Im hoping they come out well when they get developed in boots, theres something beautiful about not knowing if your film is going to come out well or not. I should probably show you my collection of Polaroids too. I'm quite fond of them.

Stuart Olds; The Day We Met.

September the 2nd 2011, Waterstones, Wells. Book signing.

You know when you go into a book store, and there's a signing and you seem to glance over at the author. They're usually on their phones or writing things down and being really unsociable. This was one book singing that was nothing like this. Josh (my boyfriend) & I went into waterstones because Josh has been looking for a particular type of book, we've even been in the Bristol Waterstones and all the others looking around, even WHSmiths!

So we walked in and glanced over, and sitting there was a very approachable looking man, He had a small table where he was selling copies of his debut novel, HOPE'S TRUTH, and we stumbled upon him quite by accident. He introduced himself and jumped on us at the first glance we gave him. I liked that about him, because he was willing to sell himself to people he'd never even met before. He explained about his new book 'Hope's Truth' and told us some in-depth information about it, Allowed us to read the blurb and then we had a discussion about Sci-Fi related comments. He also showed us a portfolio of all the celebrities who have received his signed copy of the book and have either enjoyed reading it or are awaiting for time to read it. It was amazing to see letters from the Royals of all people, He siad he'd got a email form Nelson Mandela's assistant or himself I forget but it's amazing to see how far he's come from his first book. I certainly hope he gets a film made from it!

Jail for teenager who killed girl after dare

A mother has called for the return of the death penalty for the teenage boy who killed her daughter after an offer of a free breakfast from a friend.

Joshua Davies lured 15-year-old Rebecca Aylward into woodland near Bridgend in South Wales and tried to strangle her.

When that failed, he smashed her skull with a rock the size of a rugby ball.

Davies, 16, left Rebecca face down in the pouring rain in the new clothes she had bought for their meeting.

He later returned to the wood with a friend to show him the body. At his trial, Davies tried to blame the friend for the killing.

In a statement outside Swansea Crown Court, where Davies was sentenced to a minimum of 14 years, Rebecca's mother called for the death penalty to be restored.

"The evil-doer Joshua Davies robbed us of watching our precious and perfect little girl flourish into a successful young woman," said Sonia Oatley.

"We will never forgive him for tearing our world apart so brutally and I would welcome the return of capital punishment for the likes of Joshua Davies, who forfeited his human rights when he chose to take my daughter's life."

Ms Oatley said her daughter was "a promising student, a wonderful friend but, most importantly, a loved and loving daughter and sister".

"There is no doubt in my mind that Rebecca was destined for great things," she said.

Thanking the public for their support and the prosecution team, Ms Oatley added: "Rebecca believed in the justice system and today justice has been served."

The court heard how Rebecca and Davies had a "love-hate relationship" but that she had "worshipped" him.

When Rebecca met him in the woods, she thought they were getting back together.

Davies, who collected antique knives, swords and guns from the age of nine and was fixated on horror films, had often discussed ways to kill Rebecca with friends.

In one text he wrote: "What would you do if I actually did kill her?". His friend replied: "Oh, I would buy you a breakfast," little thinking he would take the offer seriously.

Davies posted messages on Facebook saying he was watching TV to give himself an alibi. After Rebecca was reported missing, the killer told her worried mother he had not seen her.

He was described as "popular and intelligent" and no-one, including Rebecca, had taken his threats to kill her seriously.

Davies, who was found guilty at the end of July, was called "devious, calculating and controlling" by Mr Justice Lloyd Jones.

In his summary, the judge said Davies had "a deep-seated hatred towards Rebecca" and the pair had separated a year earlier with "bitterness" on both sides.

Davies immediately started talking about "killing Rebecca" to friends, who took what he said to be a joke. "They certainly did not think that you would kill (her)," the judge said.

Davies's barrister Peter Rouch QC said his client still maintained his best friend was the real culprit.
