Update: Blog Header! & Tattoo design.

I did it guys! I managed to connect the scanner to the mac (though it took half an hour to get the required documents!) and scan in my design! I'm so happy with it! I just need to get Photoshop on here so I can use my bamboo to edit all the scummy bits where I smudged and where the pencil is.

Note: I didn't rub out the pencil because I used a gel type ink pen. Because it gave me a smoother line, hence the pencil marks on the finished image. 

TATTOOOOO;

This is my tattoo design for Ellie. She loves Foo Fighters and wanted a song that meant a lot to her. She chose the font from Dafont.com and I adapted around it with swirls and various vine like designs around it. If you click on the image it'll make it bigger. Finally! I managed to get it online from the scanner so I'm sorry for the delay Ellie.

Hopefully she likes it and will get it tattooed. There is another design she wants me do to she wanted a swan and a rose, so I said what if the swan was part of the rose, but the rose was wilting and had petals falling from it. Now I think of it though I don't see how the swan could be tied in, and would be difficult to capture the swan in the rose petal design. But I'll give it a try!

New Blog Design.

Hey guys! I thought my blog needed a revamped style so I decided to draw a new header for it. I got my inspiration from seeing a picture of birds on a wire. (seen below.)

 And from then on I decided a font to go with it, I wanted the font to be flowy and to tie in with the theme, sort of calligraphic and tidy. I also wanted a feather tied in with it too because I usually wear either feather earrings or a gold feather necklace. (sometimes I wear a owl necklace with real feathers on it too :3)





So this is what I came up with:

This will soon be turned into a properly filled in pen and ink drawing.
But I will also turn it into an adobe file so I can play around with it on photoshop maybe.
I'm not sure if I'll do that yet, I want a kinda personal feel to my blog so I might just leave it hand drawn.
